Lactation Consultations & Support
Modern Milk works with various insurance plans through The Lactation Network. Check to see if you can receive 6 visits covered at 100% by your insurance.
In-Office Lactation Consult (Covered by insurance if approved by The Lactation Network!)
Meet with one of our IBCLC’s at Modern Milk for a one-on-one, 90 minute consultation. We will observe a feeding session, answer all of your questions and come up with a breastfeeding plan for you and your baby!
Your consultation(s) may be covered by your insurance! Modern Milk accepts various insurance plans through The Lactation Network!
In-Office Lactation Follow-Up Visit (Covered by insurance if approved by The Lactation Network!)
It can take a few visits with an IBCLC to work through breastfeeding challenges and feel confident breastfeeding! If you met with one of our IBCLC’s and need more guidance, come back and see us for a 60 minute follow-up visit!
Virtual Lactation Consult (Covered by insurance if approved by The Lactation Network!)
Meet one of our IBCLC’s virtually for a one hour consult. Virtual consults are best to answer simple breastfeeding, pumping and milk supply questions. If you are struggling with latching or your baby is not gaining weight, an in-office consult is recommended.
In-Home Lactation Consult (Covered by insurance if approved by The Lactation Network!)
Meet with one of our IBCLC’s in the comfort of your own home for a 90-minute consultation. We will observe a feeding session, answer all of your questions, and come up with a breastfeeding plan for you and your baby!

In-Home Lactation Follow-Up Visit (Covered by insurance if approved by The Lactation Network!)
It can take a few visits with an IBCLC to work through breastfeeding challenges and feel confident breastfeeding. If you met with one our IBCLC’s and need more guidance, book an in-home follow-up visit and one of our IBCLC’s will come to you.
Phone Consult (not covered by insurance, self-pay only)
Short on time? A 30 minute phone consult is the perfect way to get expert answers to your breastfeeding questions!
Common reasons for a phone consult include: low supply, increasing supply, pumping Q&A, returning to work and weaning.

Have breastfeeding questions or looking for support? Join us Fridays at 9:00am for our weekly Happy Boob Group! Led by an IBCLC, this laid-back open forum allows any breastfeeding mom to ask questions and learn tips and tricks for breastfeeding!
